What to know before you bid online

While each auction is unique, there are a few key elements that each sale has in common. Below is an overview of some of the shared points for each event, so you can enter your bids with confidence.

Before each auction, bidders have the opportunity to examine all items that will be sold in that sale. Usually taking place the day before the live auction, we welcome those who are interested to visit the warehouse and view the equipment with the assistance of one of our knowledgeable staffers. This is a great time to ask preliminary questions and get a solid idea of exactly what you could be winning before you bid.

Live Auctions

Getting started with our live auctions is easy. Bidders come in, browse the equipment, enjoy some complementary coffee and pastries or fruit, and check in at the registration desk to sign up and get their bidder numbers. Our key auction employees will be on-site the day of the sale, giving our guests the opportunity to chat with everyone from equipment experts to auctioneers to management staff. The morning of a sale is the time to get all of your questions answered in-depth by industry leaders and to get excited about the amazing selection of equipment.

Bidding Online

Online bidders can experience all of the excitement of a live sale from the comfort of their home or office. Simply navigate to our website, sign up for your desired auction using ProxiBid, and let the fun begin. Our online sales conducted in conjunction with a live auction are broadcast via audio and lots close in real time, so web bidders get to hear the auctioneer as they participate. For online-only sales, the lot closure times are staggered and well-displayed, allowing bidders complete control of their purchases and the ability to actively bid on multiple individual items.
